2009 Outlook:
Well, Polk High finally started to rebuild after failing for so many years to capture that
elusive Super Bowl title. Carson Palmer, LaDainian Tomlinson and Terrell Owens, among others, are gone. The key
to returning to the playoffs in 2009 will be how Maurice Jones-Drew plays and whether a second back emerges to compliment
MJD. They also retooled at receiver, adding several new players through a series of trades. Defensively, they
will rely on free agents to fill some holes, but DBs Antonio Cromarte and Kerry Rhodes will be solid and Mario Williams will
control the line.
